Gao Xuan (Dong Ying, China/Zibo No. 10 Middle School) of LHU’s volleyball team has been named the
www.GoLHU.com Female Athlete of the Week.
This is her fourth time winning the Female Athlete of the Week honor as well as PSAC East Athlete of the Week.
Xuan had a strong weekend for The Haven, leading the team to a 2-0 record.
Xuan came up big in The Haven's match on Friday against Shippensburg. She recorded a double-double, totaling 17 kills and 11 digs in the 3-1 win.
Xuan continued her outstanding play on Saturday, as she helped LHU record its tenth straight win and The Haven locked up the top seed in the PSAC East. She tallied 18 kills and posted a .351 hitting percentage in the 3-1 win over Millersville.
For the week, Xuan totaled 35 kills and 13 digs, while posting a .312 hitting percentage.
LHU finishes out the regular season this week with two matches.
The Haven travels to East Stroudsburg tonight (November 6) and rounds out the season Saturday at home against Kutztown.
