LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University field hockey team (8-4) got a hat trick from senior Amy Hordendorf (Topton, Pa./Brandywine Heights) and the Lady Eagles soared past visiting Saint Francis (Pa.) University (2-8) 6-1 in non-conference action.

Kelsie Minnich (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern York) put LHU up 1-0 just 15 minutes in and The Haven soared from there.

The Lady Eagle defense was once again solid up and down the lineup and limited the Flash to just five shots on goal.

Nicole Weaknecht (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown) made it 2-0 and then it was the Hordendorf show.

Freshman Abbey Hordendorf (Topton, Pa./Brandywine Heights) also got into the act with a goal of her own.

Lock Haven returns to action on Sunday (Oct. 3) when the Lady Eagles host perennial power Iowa.
