EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (1-6) was downed 70-50 on the road tonight at East Stroudsburg University (5-1).
The Bald Eagles, who were coming off their first win of the year on Saturday, were led tonight by
David Blackwell's (Teaneck, N.J./Teaneck) team-high 11 points.
Anthony Baker (Bushkill, Pa./East Stroudsburg North), the reigning Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Freshman of the Week added nine points and four rebounds in the loss.
Keith Dockery (Philadelphia/ Cardinal Dougherty) netted eight points and added six boards.
Armandi Marshall (Philadelphia/Olney) turned in a workmanlike performance for The Haven. He scored six points, grabbed seven rebounds and recorded four blocks.
With the win ESU extended its non-conference home win streak to 26 games. The Warriors were led by Terrance King's 16 points.
The Bald Eagles are off until the New Year. LHU will host Cheyney on Monday, January 3 at 8 p.m.
