Blackwell nets career-high 17 points; Bald Eagles downed on the road at Clarion

CLARION, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (1-15, 0-5 PSAC West) dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West game on the road at Clarion University (12-4, 3-2 PSAC West) 111-38 tonight.

The Bald Eagles got a tremendous effort from David Blackwell (Teaneck, N.J./Teaneck), who netted a career-high 17 points. Blackwell has put together two straight solid shooting nights for The Haven.

He was 7-for-12 from the field tonight and hit a pair of three's.

Jeff Everett (Blossburg, Pa./North Penn) added nine points as he hit a trio of three-pointers.

Sharif Bolton (Philadelphia/Franklin Regional Center) recorded team-high five rebounds.

Clarion was led by five players in double figures and got points from 12 different players on the way to the win.

The Golden Eagles Jamar Harrison scored a game-high 19 points to pave the way.

The Bald Eagles return to action on Saturday, Jan. 29 at California (Pa.) University (7 p.m.).
