LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (1-8) lost to visiting Shippensburg University (4-6) 72-47 tonight in Thomas Fieldhouse.

Jeff Everett (Blossburg, Pa./North Penn) did everything he could to spark the Bald Eagles in his second game back, but his game-high 14 points weren't enough. He netted four three-pointers in the loss.

Jace Keller (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Central) hit a pair of three's off the bench and finished with eight points.

Anthony Corl (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) was solid on the boards for LHU and finished with a team-high seven rebounds.

Shippensburg had two players in double figures and got a huge effort from Will Royal, who grabbed a game-high 15 boards.

The Bald Eagles will hit the road this weekend for a pair of games. On Saturday, Jan. 8 LHU takes on Millersville at 3 p.m. before taking on West Chester on Sunday at 3 p.m.
