SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (11-8, 8-4 PSAC) took down host Shippensburg University (6-16, 3-9 PSAC) 3-1 (25-22, 25-16, 24-26 & 2519) tonight in conference action.

With the win, the Lady Eagles improve to 5-0 against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East opponents. 

Gao Xuan (Dong Ying, China/Zibo No. 10 Middle School) had another big night for LHU. She knocked down 21 kills.

Bailey Farthing (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Coffman) hit .375 with 11 kills. She also had one solo block and seven block assists.

Alex Brehony (Topton, Pa./Brandywine Heights) hit a remarkable .533 with eight kills.

Alexa Garrity (Boothwyn, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) dished out a match-high 40 assists.

Erin Walsh (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) led LHU with 17 digs.

Lock Haven travels to Millersville University tomorrow (Saturday, October 14) for a 1 p.m. match.
