Bald Eagles drop PSAC contest at Mansfield, 70-64

Haven gets double digit points from five players; rallies late, but edged by six

MANSFIELD, Pa. –
The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (0-3, 0-2 PSAC) got double digit scoring from five different players and the Bald Eagles rallied from an 11 point halftime deficit, but in the end LHU was edged 70-64 by Mansfield University (2-1, 1-1 PSAC) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) contest.

Andre Rivers (Philadelphia/Girard College) led LHU with 15 points.

Freshmen Julian Bond (Philadelphia/Plymouth Whitemarsh) and Lucas Mosca (Baltimore/Towson) were not far of River's pace with 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Terrell Johnson (Philadelphia/Imhotep Charter) and Anthony Baker (Bushkill, Pa./East Stroudsburg North) both scored 10 points apiece.

Baker and Muhammad Amin (Philadelphia/Matt, Civics and Science) both had five rebounds.

Johnson continues to play well all over the court. He had five assists, two blocks and two steals to go along with his 10 points. Through three games Johnson leads the Bald Eagles in scoring with 12.7 points per game.

Mansfield had five players scoring in double figures including Chuck Harper, who had a game-high 17 points.

Lock Haven returns to the court on Saturday, December 3 at Cheyney University (3 p.m.).
