LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (18-8, 15-4 PSAC) won its ninth straight match as the Lady Eagles blanked Shippensburg University (15-18, 8-11 PSAC) 3-0 (25-20, 25-18 & 25-15) today in the final regular season match of the year for The Haven.

The Lady Eagles, who had already wrapped up the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East regular season crown and the East' top seed will host this same Shippensburg team in a PSAC Quarterfinal match on Tuesday (November 8) night at 7 p.m.

Prior to today's match, the Lady Eagles honored their lone senior in Haley Gribler.

Gribler then went on to take over the match. She hit a red-hot .419 with a match-high 16 kills to lead the Lady Eagles. She added two aces and seven digs.

Gao Xuan (Dong Ying, China/Zibo No. 10 Middle School) was solid as usual and tallied 11 kills.

Alexa Garrity (Boothwyn, Pa./Garden Spot) was again the playmaker and fished with 32 assists.
