West Chester tops Lock Haven 88-76 in PSAC action

Bald Eagles rally in second, but comeback falls short; Johnson nets career-high 18 points

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –
The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (0-7, 0-6 PSAC) dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) game at home today to visiting West Chester University (6-4, 3-3 PSAC) 88-76.

The Bald Eagles trailed by 12 at the break (46-34) and by as many as 18 points in the second, but Lock Haven continued to press.

In the end West Chester proved too strong thanks to four players in double figures in the scoring column. Lance McDowell led the way for West Chester with a game-high 19 points.

Freshman Terrell Johnson (Philadelphia/Imhotep Charter) netted a career-high 18 points to lead four Bald Eagles in double figures.

Andre Rivers (Philadelphia/Girard College) added a career-high 16 points for The Haven.

Anthony Baker (Bushkill, Pa./East Stroudsburg North) and Lucas Mosca (Baltimore, Md./Towson) added 12 and 11 points, respectively. Baker also had a team-best eight rebounds.

Mosca added a team-high five assists in a solid all-around effort for the Bald Eagles.

The Bald Eagles return to the court on Sunday, December 18 at the IUP Indiana Regional Medical Center Classic. Lock Haven will take on Urbana Sunday at 5:30 p.m. before playing West Virginia Wesleyan on Monday (Dec. 19) at 5:30 p.m.
