Women's Basketball edged at home by Millersville 57-56; Spence and Roland record career high’s

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –
Despite receiving career scoring games from Mahogany Spence (Scranton, Pa./G.A.R.) and Arlana Roland (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air), the Lock Haven University women's basketball team (4-2, 3-2 PSAC) was edged by Millersville (5-1, 4-1 PSAC) 57-56 at home tonight in a thrilling Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover matchup.
 
Spence led the Lady Eagles with a career and game high 18 points on 7-for-15 shooting from the field.  She also added five rebounds.
 
Roland scored a career high 14 points on 6-for-11 shooting from the field.
 
Peaches Nesmith (Philadelphia/Northeast), last week's PSAC West Women's Basketball Player of the Week, recorded her second straight double-double as she scored 16 points and grabbed a game high 12 rebounds.  She also dished out four assists.
 
Sharay Hall (Philadelphia/Carver) scored four points and led the team with five assists.
 
The Lady Eagles return to action tomorrow (Saturday, December 10) when they host West Chester.  The game is set to tip off at Thomas Fieldhouse at 2 p.m.
