LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Four different Bald Eagles scored in double figures, but it wasn't enough as the Lock Haven University men's basketball team's (1-24, 0-14 PSAC West) bid for a win to close out the season came up short to visiting California (Pa.) University (15-11, 8-6 PSAC West), 82-68.
Prior to the start of the game, Lock Haven took a moment to honor its five seniors, including
Sharif Bolton (Philadelphia/Franklin Regional Center),
Jeff Everett (Blossburg, Pa./North Penn),
Eli Hanna (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain),
David Blackwell (Teaneck, N.J./Teaneck) and
Joshua Eichenlaub (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore).
Three of those five seniors made their final game a memorable one and netted double figures in the scoring column, including Hanna, who netted a season-best 15 points.
Hanna drained five three-pointers on the way to his team-high 15.
Bolton added 14 points and Eichenlaub hit a trio of three's on the way to a 10-point game.
Freshman
Anthony Baker (Bushkill, Pa./East Stroudsburg North), the Bald Eagles leading scorer on the year added 14 points in the loss.
Bolton also had a team-high six rebounds.
Cal was led by five players in double figures, including Rashawd Hatten's game-high 10.
