LEWISBURG Pa. – The Lock Haven University wrestling team (5-9) fell to host Bucknell University (5-10) 26-13 tonight in a non-conference dual.

The win marks back-to-back wins over LHU for the Bison, their only two wins in the series.

The Bald Eagles four wins on the night came from John Trumbetti (Montvale, N.J./St. Joseph Regional), Matt Bonson (Lewistown, Pa./University of Virginia), Mike Khoury (Edgewater, N.J./Saint Joseph Regional) and Harry Turner (Howell, N.J./Howell).

Down 6-0, Trumbetti cut into the early Bison lead after knocking off Alex Pellicciotti 12-10. Trumbetti's overtime sudden victory win capped off a thrilling and high scoring affair.

Bonson made it back-to-back wins for LHU as he improved to 20-2 on the year. Bonson dominated Zac Hancock on the way to the major decision.

Khoury and Turner rounded out The Haven's winners tonight.

Khoury won 3-1 over Stephen McPeek and Turner won 6-4 over Joe McMullan to close out the night.

The Bald Eagles will return home for a mid-week clash with Hofstra University on Wednesday, Feb. 7. The non-conference match will start at 7 p.m.
