SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (1-18, 0-8 PSAC West) fell to host Slippery Rock University (17-6, 7-2 PSAC West) 75-47 tonight in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
The Bald Eagles had a pair of players in double figures scoring, including freshman
Anthony Baker (Bushkill, Pa./East Stroudsburg North) and senior
Sharif Bolton (Philadelphia/Franklin Regional Center).
Baker was 5-for-8 from the field and 5-for-6 from the free-throw stripe on the way to his team-high 16 points. He also had two steals.
Bolton netted 15 points to go along with nine rebounds.
Armandi Marshall (Philadelphia/Olney) chipped in with seven points and four rebounds.
Slippery Rock led 36-18 at half and had two players' net double figures including a game-high 17 points from Maron Brown.
The Bald Eagles will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 3 p.m. when they host Gannon University.
