LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University softball team (16-7, 2-2 PSAC Central) dropped a PSAC Central doubleheader today to rival and No. 16 Bloomsburg University (17-3, 2-0 PSAC Central).

Lock Haven lost game one 4-0 before dropping the game two thriller, 4-3.

In game one, LHU only managed a pair of hits as Bloom's Shavaun Fisher was tough.

Sarah Morse (Dover, N.H./Dover) had two strikeouts in the complete-game one loss.

In game two, Alicia Cacciotti (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) hit a two-run double that put LHU up in the third inning of action.

Brittany Favazza (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) came with the bat in the second game and went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles.

Nicole Smith (Milton, Pa./Milton) threw a complete game in the game-two loss. She gave up six hits and just two earned runs, while recording one strike out.

The Lady Eagles will look to bounce back tomorrow (Wednesday, March 30) at 2:30 when they host Mansfield in PSAC Central action.
