LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University baseball team (16-19, 6-12 PSAC West) dropped two games today with visiting SRU (25-13, 13-5 PSAC West).

LHU lost the first game 5-0 and dropped the second game 3-0 in a pair of pitchers duals.

The Bald Eagles hosted their first “Wounded Warrior Celebration” at Foundation Field today as the players and families supported our veterans and their sponsors.

Slippery Rock's Zach Jeney was the story in game one, as he threw a no-hitter. Jeney allowed four walks in the first no-hitter ever thrown at Foundation Field.

Getting the start on the mound in game one for the Bald Eagles was Tyler Golden (Tyrone, Pa./Tyron)

Golden threw 5.2 innings, giving up four runs on five hits. He struck out five batters

Lock Haven lost game two 3-0, as the Bald Eagles out-hit Slippery Rock four to three.

Tyler Rumsey (Mansfield, Pa./Mansfield) pitched a strong game two as he had a no-hitter going into the fifth inning.

Rumsey had two strikeouts, as SRU rallied late in the fifth two score three runs.

Corey Dorman (Mifflinburg, Pa./Alleghany College of Maryland) got a pair singles for LHU. Dorman went 2-for-3.

Matt McCamley (Philipsburg, Pa./Philipsburg-Osceola) went 1-for-3.

Lock Haven is back in action Monday, April 27 as the Bald Eagles travel to Slippery Rock University to wrap up the four-game series. The first game starts at 1 p.m.
