PHILADELPHIA - The Lock Haven University baseball team (16-13) spilt a pair of games today at Philadelphia University (4-19) in non-conference play.

The Bald Eagles lost the first game 4-3, but came back to win the night cap 7-1.

Jordan Yohn (Three Springs, Pa./Southern Huntingdon) got the start on the hill in game one.

Yohn went 5.0 innings giving up three earned runs on five hits.

Yohn sat down six batters, while not giving up a walk.

Andrew Simonik (Scott Township, Pa./Lakeland) pitched the sixth inning, shutting down the Rams. He didn't allow a hit or run.

Senior Cody Young (Bellefonte, Pa/Bellefonte) continues to have a great year at the plate. He went 2-for-4 with one run scored one RBI.

Corey Fassett (Tunkhannock, Pa./Lackawanna College) went 1-for-3 with a RBI
Corey Dorman (Mifflinburg, Pa./Alleghany College of Maryland) went 1-for-4 with a RBI.
Freshman Ryan Watkins (Beech Creek, Pa./Central Mountain) came in late in the game to collect a pinch-hit signal.
Lock Haven came alive in the second game as The Haven won 7-1.

The Bald Eagles scored seven runs on nine hits.

Pitching a solid game two was Tyler Rumsey (Mansfield, Pa./Mansfield).

Rumsey went a strong 5 innings.

Rumsey struck out three batters to collect his second win on the season. He gave up one run on four hits.

Brandon Renoll (Hanover, Pa./Hanover) and Tyler Golden (Tyrone, Pa./Tyrone) both came in relief as they each pitched an inning not giving up any runs.

Golden fanned three batters.

Having a solid game two at the plate for The Haven was Kevin Cressman (Huntingdon, Pa./Mansfield University). Cressman went 2-for-3, with two runs scored and one RBI.

Matt McCamley (Philipsburg, Pa./Philipsburg-Osceola) went 1-for-2 with a solo-homerun in the top of the third inning.

Josh Jones (Neelyton, Pa./Southern Huntingdon) got the start at third base in game two, and went 1-for-2 at the dish.
Watkins, the starting second baseman in game two went 1-for-3. Watkins had a big single in the third inning with two outs that drove in two runs.
Lock Haven is back in action Tuesday, April 12 as the Bald Eagles host Point Park University at Foundation Field. The doubleheader starts at 1 p.m.
