EDINBORO, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (3-6) dropped a pair of matches today at Edinboro University in PSAC Crossover action.

LHU opened the day with a 3-1 (13-25, 25-21, 18-25 and 22-25) loss to host Edinboro.

Lock Haven fell 3-0 (25-17, 25-19 & 25-17) to Gannon this evening.

Gao Xuan (Dong Ying, China/Zibo No. 10 Middle School) led the way offensively in the loss to Edinboro. She had 13 kills and hit .322.

Grace Novacek (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) added five kills.

Erin Walsh (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) recorded 16 digs for The Haven.

Bailey Farthing (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Coffman) led LHU in the match against Gannon. She finished with nine kills.

Alexa Garrity (Boothwyn, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) recorded 20 assists.

Walsh tallied nine digs.

Lock Haven takes on Mercyhurst College tomorrow (Saturday, September 17).
