KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (7-6, 4-2 PSAC) cruised past host Kutztown University (13-5, 3-4 PSAC) 3-0 (25-20, 25-16 & 25-21) tonight in conference action.

The Lady Eagles combined for 49 kills and hit a solid .263.

Leading the way was Gao Xuan (Dong Ying, China/Zibo No. 10 Middle School), who had 17 kills and hit .371.

Grace Novacek (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) added 12 kills in the win.

Erin Walsh (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) recorded 22 digs and added two aces.

Alexa Garrity (Boothwyn, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) was all over the court. She had a match-high 34 assists, while adding 11 digs and two aces.

Lock Haven was also very solid blocking tonight according to head coach Tom Justice.

Lock Haven is back at it tomorrow (Saturday, October 1) at 1 p.m. at West Chester.
