LHU downed by Gannon in PSAC West play

Johnson’s 15 points not enough as Haven falls 80-49 in conference action

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (0-17, 0-14 PSAC) lost 80-49 at home today to Gannon University (10-8, 8-6 PSAC) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division action.

Terrell Johnson (Philadelphia/Imhotep Charter) netted a team-high 15 points and Anthony Baker (Bushkill, Pa./East Stroudsburg North) scored 11, but it wasn't enough to spark LHU after Gannon got off to a hot start this afternoon in Thomas Fieldhouse.

Gannon led by 16 at the break thanks a to big run midway through the first half.

Nate Walters (Reedsville, Pa./Indian Valley) turned in another strong start for LHU. He netted seven points and grabbed six rebounds.

Armandi Marshall (Philadelphia/Olney East) led LHU on the boards with eight rebounds.

Julian Bond (Philadelphia/Plymouth Whitemarsh) hit a pair of three's for The Haven as he added six points.

Gannon got a game-high 19 points from Adam Blazek, who led four players in double figures scoring.

The Bald Eagles return to action on Wednesday, February 1 at Mercyhurst University (7:30 p.m.).
