LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Armandi Marshall (Philadelphia/Oleny East) recorded a double-double for the Bald Eagles, but it wasn't enough as the Lock Haven University men's basketball team (0-11, 0-8 PSAC) lost to visiting Kutztown University (7-5, 4-4 PSAC) 75-54 tonight in Thomas Fieldhouse.
Marshall scored 10 points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds for the Bald Eagles' first double-double in over a year. Nine of Marshall's 11 boards came on the defensive side.
Lucas Mosca (Baltimore/Towson) led LHU in scoring with 11 points.
Nate Walters (Reedsville, Pa./Indian Valley) came off the bench to add eight points after going 3-for-3 from the field and 2-for-4 from the free-throw line. He also had four rebounds and an assist.
A huge key for Kutztown was a game-high 32 points from Devon McBride.
The Bald Eagles will kick off PSAC West play on Wednesday, January 11 at 8 p.m. at Slippery Rock University.
