Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University field hockey team (11-7, 2-3 A-10) dominated visiting Saint Louis (1-16, 0-5 A-10) on the way to a 3-0 shutout today in Atlantic 10 Conference action.
The Lady Eagles also took time today to honor their four seniors in
Nikki Weaknecht (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown),
Teresa Lezama (D'Abadie, Trinidad & Tobago/St. Joseph's Convent),
Kelsie Minnich (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern York) and
Kelsey Moll (Newmanstown, Pa./Elco).
Kelly Harsh (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor) scored a pair of goals to lead the way for Lock Haven, who dominated Saint Louis in every facet of the game.
LHU outshot the Billlikens 23-1 and held a 21-1 advantage in penalty corners.
Moll was only forced to make one save in the shutout win.
Harsh put LHU up 1-0, 9:18 into the match.
Weaknecht made it 2-0 in the 25th minute. She finished with a goal and two assists.
Harsh's second goal of the game helped LHU put the game away in the 47th minute.
Lock Haven returns to action Friday, October 26 at 3 p.m. vs. Richmond.
