Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Wali Hepburn (Philadelphia/Nuemann-Goretti) scored 40 points today to lead the Lock Haven University men's basketball team (3-2, 1-1 PSAC) to a 94-87 overtime win over Shippensburg (2-3, 0-2 PSAC) at Thomas Fieldhouse.

Hepburn, who scored 30 points yesterday, was once again unstoppable today.  His 40 points tie him for the fourth most points scored in Lock Haven history and marks the ninth 40 point game in school history.

Hepburn becomes the sixth Bald Eagle to score 40 points in a game.

Hepburn's 40 points comes exactly six years since LHU's last 40 point game, when Justin Wilson scored 40 against East Stroudsburg.

Hepburn got it going right from the beginning, as he scored 14 of LHU's 29 first half points.

He shot 10-for-21 from the field and 18-for-20 from the free throw line in the game.  Hepburn's 18 free throws made and 20 free throws attempted are both school records.

Hepburn added five rebounds, four steals and three assists.

Armandi Marshall (Philadelphia/Olney East) also had a big game for LHU.  The senior forward recorded his first double-double of the season.

Marshall netted 15 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds.  Marshall was a force defensively and tied a career-high with four blocked shots.

Terrell Johnson (Philadelphia/Imhotep Charter) and Kasheef Festus (Philadelphia/Archbishop Carroll) also scored in double figures for The Haven, as they posted 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Johnson dished out a game-high four assists.

The Haven got a huge defensive stop as time expired in regulation, as SHIP's last-second shot hit the front rim.

Tied 73-73 after regulation, Lock Haven opened up the overtime period with an 8-0 run and never looked back.

It was LHU's first win over a PSAC opponent since December 4, 2010 when The Haven beat Bloomsburg 54-51.

Reggie Charles led Shippensburg with a career-high 34 points.

The Bald Eagles return to action Saturday, December 8, when LHU travels to Mercyhurst for its PSAC West opener.  Tipoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
