Bald Eagles fall on road to California 77-52

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –
The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (0-21, 0-18 PSAC) fell to California (Pa.) University (14-10, 11-7 PSAC) 77-52 on the road today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.

Anthony Baker (Bushkill, Pa./East Stroudsburg North) had a big second half for LHU, scoring 19 of his game-high 21 points in the period.

Baker shot 7-for-14 from the field in 21 minutes of action

Julian Bond (Philadelphi/Plymouth Whitemarsh) connected on 3-of-7 three-pointers and tied his career-high with 18 points.

Andre Rivers (Philadelphia/Girard College) recorded a team-high five rebounds and three steals.

The Bald Eagles trailed 35-20 at the half and were unable to cut into the Vulcans lead in the second half.

Cal's Tynell Fortune connected on four three-pointers on his way to scoring 19 points.

The Bald Eagles return to action Wednesday, February 15 when they travel to Clarion University for a 7:30 p.m. tip.
