Four Bald Eagles score in double figures, but Clarion slips past Haven 72-67

CLARION, Pa. –
Four Bald Eagles scored in double figures, but it wasn't enough as the Lock Haven University men's basketball team (0-22, 0-19 PSAC) was edged 72-67 at Clarion University (15-10, 11-8 PSAC) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.

Anthony Baker (Bushkill, Pa./East Stroudsburg North) led the way with 18 points and a trio of Bald Eagles scored 12 points apiece including Terrell Johnson (Philadelphia/Imhotep Charter), Armandi Marshall (Philadelphia/Olney East) and Andre Rivers (Philadelphia/Girard College).

Baker grabbed seven rebounds to go along with his game-high 18 points.

Rivers led LHU with eight rebounds.

Clarion had four players score in double figures including Quintus Teer, who matched Baker's game high 18 points. Teer also had 13 rebounds.

LHU led by four at the break 39-35 and the Bald Eagles held a lead with under two minutes to play. With 1:42 left in the game it was 67-67 and Clarion was able to push past Lock Haven over the final minute.

Lock Haven returns to action on Saturday, February 18 at 3 p.m. at Gannon University.
