CLARION, Pa. – Freshman Lysa Mealing (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) scored 11 points to lead four Lady Eagles in double figures, but it wasn't enough as the Lock Haven University women's basketball team (8-14, 7-12 PSAC) lost 78-62 at Clarion University (7-16, 6-13 PSAC) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.

Mahogany Spence (Scranton, Pa./G.A.R.), Sharay Hall (Philadelphia/Carver) and Heather McHugh (Norristown, Pa./Norristown) all scored 10 points for The Haven.

Peaches Nesmith (Philadelphia/Northeast) led LHU with 10 rebounds, while adding eight points.

Hall also had five rebounds and five assists.

LHU trailed by five at the break, 33-28.

Hannah Heeter had a huge outing for Clarion. She scored a game-high 28 points to go along with a game-high 19 rebounds.

Lock Haven returns to action on Saturday, February 18 at 1 p.m. at Gannon University.
