LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Seniors Matt Bonson (Lewistown, Pa./UVA) and Seth Creasy (Mercer, Pa./Mercer) both picked up wins for the Lock Haven University wrestling team (4-10, 1-4 EWL), but it wasn't enough as the Bald Eagles fell to rival Bloomsburg University (16-7, 3-3 EWL) 21-12 tonight in Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) action.

The Haven won four bouts on the night with Fred Garcia (Donora, Pa./Ringgold) and Harry Turner (Howell, N.J./Howell) also picking up wins for Lock Haven.

The wins were special ones for Bonson and Creasy as tonight marked the final home match of their Haven careers.

Bonson, ranked No. 33 nationally at 141 returned to the lineup with a 4-0 win over Matt Hicks. Bonson scored a takedown just 20 seconds into the bout to set the tone.

Creasy used a second period reversal and a riding point to take down Chris Smith 3-1 at 165.

Garcia took down Sam Shirey 8-6 at 184 and Turner won 3-2 over Zac Walsh at 285.

Lock Haven will close out the regular season with a 2 p.m. dual at Clarion on Sunday (Feb. 19).

Clarion fell to No. 13 Kent State 30-16 tonight in non-conference action.
