SALISBURY, N.C. – The Lock Haven University softball team lost to Wayne State 8-3 this morning at the Catawba Invitational.
Lock Haven is now 1-1 on the year and plays two more games tonight (Saturday, Feb. 25).
Despite this morning's loss,
Amanda Fernandez (Cheltenham, Pa./Nazareth Academy) had a hot bat. She was 3-for-4 with a double.
Lock Haven is still set for a pair of games tonight at 6 and 8 p.m. The Lady Eagles take on Fairmont State and Wingate, respectively.
The Lady Eagles closes out play in North Carolina on tomorrow (Sunday, February 26 at 10 a.m. with a game against Davis & Elkins.
