Box Score GREENSBURG, Pa.  – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team (1-0) opened the 2012 season with a 2-0 road-shutout at Seton Hill (0-2) today in non-conference action.

Madison Taylor (Monaca, Pa./Center) put Lock Haven up 1-0 in 51st minute after a fine pass from Madeline Fazio (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Academy of the New Church).

Freshman Katie Eichman (McAlisterville, Pa./East Juniata) netted the second goal to make it 2-0 LHU.

Jamie Hunter (Marietta, Pa./Donegal) set up Eichman's 67th minute strike.

Solid defensive play from Danielle Mauro (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) led LHU to the shutout.

Starting goalie Dana Wozniak (Blackstone, Mass./Mount St. Charles Academy) was sensational for Lock Haven and made four saves. Breona Browner (Pittsburgh/Penn Hills) replaced Wozniak with about 15 minutes to play and made a tremendous late-save to preserve the shutout.

Lock Haven returns to action on Wednesday, September 5 when the Lady Eagles open PSAC play at home vs. Gannon (1:30 p.m.)
