Box Score WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (9-7, 4-1 PSAC) swept West Chester (10-10, 1-5 PSAC) today 3-0 (25-19, 25-16 & 25-21) in a PSAC East matchup.

Gao Xuan (Dong Ying, China/Zibo No. 10 Middle School) recorded a team-high 14 kills for LHU and had just one error in 28 attempts.

Alex Brehony (Mertztown, Pa./Brandywine Heights) and Cody Anderson (Johnsonburg, Pa./Johnsonburg) had strong games for LHU, as they had 13 and nine kills, respectively.

Alexa Garrity (Boothwyn, Pa/Cardinal O'Hara) had The Haven offense on point all match and dished out 38 assists.

Erin Walsh (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) tallied a team-high 12 digs for LHU.

Bethany Burns (Erie, Pa./McDowell) added 10 digs for The Haven.

Garrity chipped in with nine digs.

Grace Novacek (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) led the Lady Eagles with five blocks in the match.

Bailey Farthing (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Coffman) added four blocks.

Today's win marked the 22nd straight for LHU over West Chester.

The Lady Eagles return to action Friday, October 5, when they travel to Clarion University for two PSAC crossover matches.  LHU will face Clarion at 11:30 a.m. and California (Pa.) at 5 p.m.
