Lady Eagles fall on the road at #25 Bloom

LHU back in action tomorrow (Saturday, January 12) at Mansfield

Box Score BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (4-8, 1-7 PSAC) fell tonight to No. 25 Bloomsburg (9-3, 5-3 PSAC), 80-53 on the road at Bloomsburg's Nelson Field House.

The Lady Eagles trailed 45-20 at the halftime break, but played right with the nationally ranked Lady Huskies throughout the second half.

Marrysa Moyer (Altoona, Pa./Mansfield Univ.) led LHU in points and rebounds tonight.  The sophomore scored 11 points and shot a perfect 2-for-2 on three's.

Moyer, who entered tonight ranked sixth in the PSAC in rebounding, grabbed a game-high nine rebounds.

J.J. Hilliard (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) and Adrianna Berry (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) scored eight points each for LHU.

Berry dished out a career-high four assists on the night.

Kelsey Ryan (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) scored seven points and grabbed five rebounds in the game.

Alex Brehony (Mertztown, Pa./Brandywine Heights) added seven boards for LHU.

Bloomsburg was led by Kayla Oxenrider, who netted 16 points.

The Lady Eagles are right back in action tomorrow (Saurday, January 12) when LHU travels to Mansfield University in a PSAC matchup.  Tipoff at Mansfield's Decker Gymnasium is set for 5:30 p.m.
