Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Three Lady Eagles scored in double-figures tonight, but it wasn't enough as the Lock Haven University women's basketball team fell to visiting Indiana (Pa.) University, 88-62.
Lock Haven (6-12, 3-11 PSAC) got a team-high 16 points from
J.J. Hilliard (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) as she paced three Lady Eagles in double-figures, including
Marrysa Moyer (Altoona, Pa./Mansfield Univ.), who flirted with the double-double.
Moyer had 10 points and nine rebounds.
IUP (15-5, 10-4 PSAC West) was led by four players in double-figures and the Crimson Hawks shot 42 percent from the field for the game.
Kelsey Ryan (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) was Lock Haven's third player in double-figures as she netted 14.
Hilliard was 7-for-15 from the field and Ryan was 6-for-12.
Hilliard also had five assists and two steals.
Moyer was 6-for-7 from the free-throw line and also recorded two blocks.
Kacie Hershey (Cochranville, Pa./Octorara) added seven points and six rebounds.
At halftime, IUP led 38-26.
Ryan and IUP's Lindsay Stamp both scored 10 points in the first half.
IUP's Zhane Brooks led all scorers in the game with 20 points. She was 8-for-9 from the field and 4-for-4 from the charity stripe.
Lock Haven returns to action on Saturday, February 2 at 1 p.m. when they take on No. 7 Gannon University.
