Box Score LORETTO, Pa. – The Lock Haven University field hockey team was edged 4-3 today at Saint Francis in the Atlantic 10 Conference opener for both teams.

Lock Haven (10-3, 0-1 A10) got goals from three different players, but it wasn't enough to top SFU (5-4, 1-1 A10) today on the road, snapping the Lady Eagles seven-match win streak.

The Red Flash led 2-0 midway through the first half thanks to goals from Carissa Makea and Autumn Pellman.

Taylor Kennedy (Westmont, N.J./Haddon Township) put The Haven on the board in the 34
th minute off an unassisted goal.

Lydia George (Carlisle, Pa./Big Spring) made it 2-2 in the 41
st minute after she fired home a pass from
Nakira Downes (Bridgetown, Barbados/The Comermere School).

Makea's second goal of the game put Saint Francis back on top in the 45
th minute.

Lock Haven wasn't going way without a fight and tied the game again in the 50
th minute.
Kelly Harsh (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor) ripped a penalty corner pass from George home to tie the match at, 3-3.

Pellman scored her second goal of the game and the eventual game-winner in the 60
th minute.
