Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team picked up a pair of 3-0 wins today against visiting Cheyney University.
 
LHU (14-8, 5-5 PSAC East) opened the day with a straight set victory (25-16, 25-20, 25-17) against Cheyney (4-16, 0-11).
 
Leading the way in the first match for Lock Haven was Lauren Dentler (Mechanicsburg, Cumberland Valley) with a match-high of 19 kills.  Sarah Warnagiris (Hunlock Creek, Pa./Holy Redeemer) added 12 digs. 
 
Kendra Fetzer (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle Area) paced the offense with 38 assists.

Stephanie Doherty (East Earl, Pa./Garden Spot) served up five aces in the win.
 
The second match Lock Haven cruised to another 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-13) win.
 
Warnagiris led the Haven with 11 kills.  Laura Harris (Galloway, N.J./Abesami) added ten kills and 17 digs in the win.  Fetzer continued to have an outstanding performance in the second match with 41 assists.
 
Sydney Belcastro (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hopewell) added 13 digs.
 
Lock Haven is back in action Friday (October 18) when LHU hosts a PSAC Crossover.  (11:30 a.m.)
