Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team went 1-1 today at home, falling to Gannon and downing Mercyhurst in PSAC play.
 
After today's matches, Lock Haven has advanced to 17-9 overall and 8-6 in PSAC action.
 
Lock Haven opened the day with a 3-2 loss (25-23, 21-25, 26-24, 27-29, & 11-15) to Gannon (14-8, 9-4 PSAC).  The Haven closed out the weekend with a 3-0 sweep of Mercyhurst (25-16, 25-20, & 25-19)
 
Cody Anderson (Johnsonburg, Pa./Johnsonburg) led LHU with 16 kills and Bailey Farthing (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Coffman) added 15.  Jessica Brown (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) paced the attack with 47 assists.
 
Bethany Burns (Erie, Pa./McDowell) led LH with 29 digs.  Sydney Belcastro (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hopewell) and Danielle Weaver (Denver, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) added 13 digs each. 
 
Lock Haven downed Mercyhurst in three straight sets.
 
Alex Brehony (Mertztown, Pa./Brandywine Heights) led The Haven with 11 kills.  Cody and Anderson added eight. 
 
Burns recorded 18 digs in the win and Brown added 14. 
 
Weaver served up four aces.
 
The Lady Eagles are back in action Friday, October 25 (7 pm) against Millersville in conference play.
