Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University field hockey team got goals from three different players and the Lady Eagles dropped visiting Saint Francis 3-2 tonight at home.
Lock Haven (9-2) jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead thanks to first-half goals from
Taylor Kennedy (Westmont, N.J./Haddon Township) and
Nakira Downes (Bridgetown, Barbados/The Combermere School).
Kennedy ripped home a penalty corner in the 10
th minute and a spectacular individual effort from Downes made it 2-0 in the 30
th minute.
SFU's (3-4) Autumn Pellman scored early in the second half to make it 2-1.
Megan Wenrich's (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) first career goal in the 47
th minute made it 3-1 LHU.
The Red Flash tacked on a last-minute goal, but Lock Haven hung on for the win.

Defensively, Lock Haven was led by
Kelly Harsh (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor),
Jenna Felice (Endicott, N.Y./Maine Endwell) and

Lock Haven returns to action on Sunday, Oct. 6 on the road at Sacred Heart (1 p.m.).
