Setting the stage:
Lock Haven (2-1) hits the road for a pair of non-conference matches this weekend.
 
Lock Haven takes on Rider (3-1) Friday (Nov. 22) night at 7 p.m. in Lawrenceville, N.J. before traveling to top-ranked Penn State (2-0) on Sunday (Nov. 24) at 2 p.m. in Rec Hall.

The match marks the Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) opener for both teams.

This marks the first season where Rider is competing in the EWL. 

Lock Haven was 1-4 in conference duals last year. 
 
LHU notes & storylines:

• The Bald Eagles are in the middle of a stretch of four straight dual matches vs. nationally-ranked teams.
• Following back-to-back tournaments, LHU returns to dual action on Decemeber 19 vs. No. 21 Bloomsburg after Sunday's match with No. 1 Penn State.
• Lock Haven is coming off a 27-14 loss to No. 14 Pittsburgh last Friday.
• LHU returns its two national qualifiers from a year ago in Dan Neff (141) and Fred Garcia (184).
• Both Neff and Garcia are a perfect 3-0 in dual matches this year.
• Garcia is ranked No. 19 in this week's InterMat poll.
• Garcia and Neff are ranked No. 14 & No. 17, respectively in the Amateur Wrestling News weekly rankings.
