Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University field hockey team capped off the regular season today with an impressive 7-0 shutout as the Lady Eagles downed Saint Louis in Atlantic 10 Conference action.
 
Lock Haven (14-6, 4-3 A-10) got goals from six different players on the way to the Lady Eagles 10th shutout the year. The win over Saint Louis (1-19, 0-7 A-10) also snapped a two-game skid, as the LHU outshot the visitors 22-3 today.

The win was also LHU head coach Pat Rudy's 300th at The Haven. 
 
The Lady Eagles jumped out to a 4-0 halftime lead thanks to Nakira Downes' (Bridgetown, Barbados/The Combermere School) five points. She sparked the LHU attack early and often, tallying a goal and three assists in the opening 35 minutes of the game.
 
Downes set up the first two goals of the game, both of which were scored by Lydia George (Carlisle, Pa./Big Spring).
 
Downes made it 3-0 on a goal of her own in the 22nd minute of play.
 
Taylor Kennedy (Westmont, N.J./Haddon Township) got into the action, scoring her 10th of the season off a pass from Downes.
 
Tabatha Almond (Souderton, Pa./Souderton), Colleen McCabe (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./William Tennent) and Kelly Martin (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) all scored second-half goals for Lock Haven.
 
Elaina White (Etters, Pa./Red Land) was called upon to make just two saves in 57-plus minutes of action.
 
Kelly Harsh (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor), Lock Haven's lone senior this year was honored at today's game for her amazing contributions to the Lady Eagle program. She led The Haven's strong defensive effort today that allowed just three Saint Louis shots.
 
Lock Haven finished the regular season with a 14-6 overall record and 4-3 mark in conference play.
 
Lock Haven entered today's game tied for the third spot in the A-10 standings as LHU, Saint Francis, VCU and Saint Joseph's all had identical 3-3 conference marks.
