LOCK HAVEN, Pa.  –
The Lock Haven University softball team closed out the 2013 regular season today by dropping a pair of extra-inning games with visiting IUP.

Lock Haven (28-12, 11-5 PSAC Central) lost to IUP (24-15, 7-9 PSAC Central) 3-2 (10 innings) in game one and the Lady Eagles dropped game two, 11-8 (8 innings).

Despite four straight losses to close out the season, Lock Haven claims a share of the PSAC Central title with Bloomsburg and Mansfield. All three teams finished with 11-5 marks in PSAC Central play.

Lock Haven will be the top-seed coming out of the Central, thanks to a 3-1 regular-season record against Bloomsburg.

In game two, LHU scored eight runs on nine hits.

Schwalm was tough at the plate again in game two, going 2-for-5 with two RBIs and a run scored.
