Box Score 2 ASHLAND, Ohio - The Lock Haven University volleyball team dropped a pair of matches today as the Lady Eagles opened play at the 2013 Quality Inn and Suites Ashland University Invitational.
Lock Haven (4-2) opened the day with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-18 & 25-16) loss to host Ashland, before dropping a 3-0 (26-24, 25-17 & 25-11) match to nationally-ranked Wheeling Jesuit.
Cody Anderson (Johnsonburg, Pa./Johnsonburg) continued her strong play and led LHU vs. Ashland. She finished with nine kills and four digs.
Bailey Farthing (Dublin, Ohio./Dublin Coffman) finished with six kills, while
Jessica Brown Fawn-Grove, Pa./Kennard Dale) dished out 17 assists.
Casey Clark led Ashland with a match-high 13 kills.
Anderson was again the leader on offense for LHU vs. Wheeling Jesuit. She recorded seven kills, while
Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle) also knocked down seven.
Brown tallied 19 assists and Flick also had four blocks.
Lock Haven is right back at it tomorrow at the Ashland Tournament with matches vs. Cedarville (9 a.m.) and Tusculum (4:30 p.m.).
