Field Hockey gets goals from 5 different players; Lady Eagles shutout Siena 5-0

Lady Eagles score three first-half goals as LHU soars past Siena in non-conference action

Box Score LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – The Lock Haven University field hockey team goal goals from five different players and the Lady Eagles dominated host Siena on the way to a 5-0 shutout today in non-conference action.
 
Lock Haven (5-2) outshot Siena (0-4) 12-3 and scored three first-half goals on the way the Lady Eagles third shutout of the season.
 
LHU got goals from Kelly Harsh (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor), Colleen McCabe (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./William Tennent), Rachel Valentine (Souderton, Pa./Souderton), Kiersten Cepeda (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) and Brittany Harlos (Stockholm, N.J./Wallkill Valley).
 
Lock Haven jumped on Siena early, scoring in the 13th and 18th minutes of play.
 
Starting goalie Elaina White (Etters, Pa./Red Land) was forced to make only one save in her fifth win of the year.
 
Lock Haven returns to action next Sunday, September 22 when the Lady Eagles host Robert Morris at 11 a.m.

- Today was Lock Haven's third shutout of the season. It also marked LHU's second 5-0 shutout in the last four games.
