Box Score 2 LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University volleyball team (9-3) picked up a pair of wins today as the Lady Eagles played wrapped up the LHU Classic.
Lock Haven swept Ohio Valley 3-0 (25-18, 25-10, & 25-20) in their first match of the day.
Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle) led the way for LHU with 16 kills in the win over Ohio Valley.
Kaleigh Hudak (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom High) recorded 11 kills and
Stephanie Doherty (East Earl, Pa./Garden Spot) added eight kills.
Jessica Brown (Fawn-Grove, Pa./Kennard Dale) continued to anchor the Lady Eagles, recording 38 assists in the first match of the day.
Lock Haven completed a 4-0 LHU Classic with a 3-1 (25-11, 25-16, 22-25, 25-15) victory over Dominican College in the nightcap.
Brown recorded a double-double with 42 assists and 13 digs. She also added two serving aces, 1.5 blocks, and three kills. Hudak and Flick led the offensive attack for the Lady Eagles with 13 and 11 kills, respectively.
Bethany Burns (Erie, Pa./McDowell) also played a solid game, tallying a team-high 14 digs and three serving aces.
LHU returns to action Friday, September 27 when they compete in the California (Pa.) Crossover. The Haven plays Clarion (2:00 pm), California (7:30 pm), and Seton Hill (Saturday, September 28).
