Box Score 2 CALIFORNIA, Pa. - The Lock Haven University volleyball team dropped a pair of PSAC matches today at California (Pa.) University.
Lock Haven (9-5) opened PSAC play with a 3-1 (25-19, 17-25, 14-25 & 24-26) loss to Clarion and host-California beat The Haven 3-0 (25-21, 25-22 & 25-16).
Leading the way in the loss to Clarion was
Cody Anderson (Johnsonburg, Pa./Johnsonburg) and
Kaleigh Hudak (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom High), who knocked down 17 and 15 kills, respectively.
Anderson hit .268 and Hudak recorded a .255 hitting-percentage.
Bailey Farthing (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Coffman) added eight kills.
Jessica Brown (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) paced the offense with 37 assists. She also added 15 digs.
Bethany Burns (Erie, Pa./McDowell) led LHU with 19 digs.
Hudak was again LHU's star in the match vs. Cal. She had a team-high 11 kills.
Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle) added eight kills and 12 digs.
Brown dished out 24 assists and Burns had a dozen digs.
Lock Haven is right back in action tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 28) with another two PSAC Crossover matches at Seton Hill. LHU plays IUP (12:30 p.m.) and host-Seton Hill (6 p.m.).
