Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa.  – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (11-6, 4-3 PSAC East) picked up its third straight PSAC Eastern Division win tonight with a, 76-71 win over Millersville (7-8, 3-3 PSAC East) at Thomas Fieldhouse.

Tonight marked the first game with the student body back from winter break and in front of a packed house at Thomas Fieldhouse, Lock Haven didn't disappoint.

The Haven, led by the big three of
Wali Hepburn (Philadelphia/Neumann-Goretti),
Bootsie Walker (Chester, Pa./Chester) and
Kasheef Festus (Philadelphia/Archbishop Carroll) controlled much of the game on their way to the win.

The trio scored 54 of LHU's 76 points tonight and combined for 26 rebounds in the win.

The Bald Eagles played an exceptional first half, highlighted by a jaw-dropping alley-oop jam by Walker off of a great inbounds pass by Hepburn.

Lock Haven held a, 39-33 lead after 20 minutes of play.

Walker, who was named PSAC East Freshman of the Week earlier this week, paced The Haven throughout the opening period.  He had 15 points and eight rebounds at the break.

Festus netted 10 points in the half.

Hepburn, who is the reigning PSAC East Player of the Week, scored seven points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists in the first.

Just like the first half, the second belonged to Lock Haven.  The Bald Eagles never trailed in the second half and pushed their lead to as many as 11 on their way to the win.

Hepburn made the crowd roar with the highlight play of the period, when he raced out on a fast-break and threw down a monster two-handed tomahawk dunk that ignited the Thomas Fieldhouse faithful.

Hepburn finished with a game-high 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field.  He added eight rebounds, six assists and two blocks.

Walker finished with 17 points and nine boards.

Festus netted 15 points and pulled down nine boards of his own.

Al Blount (Northampton, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic),
Dave Garcia (Scotrun, Pa./Pocono Mt. East) and
Brahieme Jackson (Philadelphia/Bishop McDevitt) all played crucial roles down the stretch for LHU.

The win moves Lock Haven into sole possession of fourth place in the PSAC Eastern Division

The Bald Eagles are right back in action this Saturday (January 25) when The Haven hits the road for a conference game at Cheyney.  Tipoff is set for 3 p.m.
