WBB: Lady Eagles host Shippensburg in mid-week conference clash

The Lock Haven University women's basketball team will look to get back on track tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 29) night at 6 p.m. when the Lady Eagles host Shippensburg in PSAC East action.

Five things you need to know:
 
1. MOYER'S LEADING THE WAY
 
Junior Marrysa Moyer leads Lock Haven in both points and rebounds with 16.4 and 9.8, respectively. She's ranked ninth in the PSAC in scoring and third the conference in rebounding. Moyer ranks No. 41 in all of NCAA Division II women's basketball in rebounding.
 
2. DAUGHERTY'S NUMBERS CONTINUE TO IMPRESS
 
Emily Daugherty, who missed last week's mid-week game vs. Millersville returned to action Saturday at Cheyney with 16 points. On the year, she's averaging 14.6 points per game in her 14 games played this season.
 
3. PASSING IT OFF
 
Sami Lane is putting together quality minutes for Lock Haven. More impressive than her 9.8 points per game are her team-high 53 assists. She's averaging three assists per game.
 
4. CLOSE-ONE VS. SHIP
 
Last season, Lock Haven lost a close one to Shippensburg, 87-82. Moyer had 22 points in the loss.
 
5. RYAN READY
 
Kelsey Ryan is getting it done on both ends of the court, with 8.6 points per game and 6.1 rebounds.
