CLARION, Pa. – The Lock Haven University wrestling team (2-9, 0-4 EWL) won four bouts on, but it wasn't enough to take down Clarion University (7-10, 1-2 EWL) tonight on the road in Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) action as the Bald Eagles fell, 18-12.

Dan Neff (Quarryville, Pa./Solanco), No. 30
Jake Kemerer (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield), No. 26
Fred Garcia (Donora, Pa./Ringgold) and
Phil Sprenkle (Seven Valleys, Pa./Dallastown).
No. 33
Mac Maldarelli (Merrick, N.Y./Nassau C.C.) dropped a hard-fought, 7-4 decision to No. 25 Justin Arthur at 149 pounds.
Down 6-0 after losses at 125 and 133, Neff put the Bald Eagles on the board with a 5-1 win over Tyler Bedelyon at 141.
Back-to-back Haven wins at 184 and 197 made it 15-12 Clarion heading to the night's final bout and Evan Daley came away with the win to secure the victory for the hosts.
The Bald Eagles are right back at it tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 1) at 2 p.m. when they host EWL foe Cleveland State.
