LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lady Eagles got goals from
Jamie Hunter (Marietta, Pa./Donegal) and
Taylor Ludlam (Middletown, Del./Appoquinimink), and the Lock Haven University women's soccer team edged visiting Shippensburg, 2-1 in PSAC action.

Ludlam scored the eventual game-winner for Lock Haven (3-11-1, 3-10-1 PSAC) in the 60
th minute. It was the first goal of the season for Ludlam, who helped LHU drop Shippensburg (3-7-3, 3-7-3 PSAC) in an exciting PSAC battle.

Hunter put Lock Haven 1-0 just 15:23 when she scored on a penalty shot. Shippensburg was called for a handball in the box and Hunter went to the spot, where she left little doubt – burying her fourth goal of the season in the bottom right corner.

Shippensburg's Caitlin Sheehan tied the match at 1-1 in the 23
rd minute, when she knocked home a rebound from three yards out.

In the 60
th minute, Ludlam ran onto a long rebound and volleyed it home.

Michelle Cuomo (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) and
Morgan Euston (Newtown, N.J./Newton) split time in goal for LHU. Cuomo made three saves in the first half and Euston made one in the second.

It marked just the second time all year, where Shippensburg allowed more than one goal.

Lock Haven travels to Millersville for a 5:30 p.m. PSAC match on Saturday, October 25.
