Anderson and Flick lead LHU with 11 kills and five digs, respectively
 
EAST STROUDSBURG, PA. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (16-9, 10-7 PSAC) downed East Stroudsburg University (6-20, 2-15 PSAC), 3-0 (25-14, 25-23, & 25-18) on the road in conference action.
 
The Lady Eagles were firing on all cylinders as LHU cruised to a, 3-0 (25-14, 25-23, & 25-18) win today over ESU.  Today's win marks the tenth conference win of the season for The Haven.
 
Cody Anderson (Johnsonburg, Pa./Johnsonburg) and Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle) powered The Haven attack with 11 kills and five digs, respectively.  Flick recorded a .391 hitting-percentage. 
 
Toryn Quivers (Mercersburg, Pa./James Buchanan) added eight kills and a .467 hitting-percentage in the win.
 
Jessica Brown (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) dished out a match-high 35 assists. 
 
The Haven was strong defensively halting The Warrior attack with a match-high 62 digs. 
 
Sydney Belcastro (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hopewell) led LHU with 14 digs and Sarah Gomish (Ebensburg, Pa./Bishop Carroll) added 11 digs in the win.
 
LHU was powered by three aces and eight assisted blocks.
 
Desiree Claxton and Annabelle Charlton recorded eight kills, respectively. 
 
The Lady Eagles return to action Tuesday (Oct. 28) on the road against Pitt-Johnstown in conference play (7 pm).
