The Lock Haven University field hockey is headed south to take on Davidson on Saturday, October 11 at 1 p.m.

Setting the stage:
The Lady Eagles are the midst of a rare three-game losing skid and will look to right the ship on Saturday at Davidson in the two team's first-ever meeting as Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) foes.
 
LHU went 0-2 last week, losing to UMass on Friday in A-10 action, before falling to former Northeast Conference (NEC) rival Rider, 2-1 on Sunday.
 
LHU is now 7-5 overall and 2-1 in A-10 action.
 
Davidson is 2-9 overall (1-2 A-10) and coming off a 1-1 weekend. Most recently, Davidson beat Saint Louis, 1-0 on Sunday. The Wildcats host James Madison tomorrow.
 
Three things you need to know:

• Lock Haven is 1-0 vs. Davidson, winning the only meeting between the two schools, 4-3 in 2005.
• Nakira Downes is leading the way for The Haven with five goals, six assists and a team-high 16 points. Lydia George is chipping in with six goals and two assists (14 points).
• LHU is 5-1 at home, 2-3 on the road and 0-1 in neutral site games.
