LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team (3-12-2, 3-11-2 PSAC) closed the 2014 season today with a 0-0 (2OT) draw with visiting Bloomsburg (7-8-3, 5-8-3 PSAC).
Following today's match, Lock Haven took time to honor its seniors –

Jamie Hunter (Marietta, Pa./Donegal),
Jenna Hunter (Marietta, Pa./Donegal),
Taylor Ludlam (Middletown, Del./Appoquinimink),
Danielle Mauro (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) and
Harley Rolph (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) for their many contributions to the program.
Late in the first overtime period,
Jenna Hunter sent a 25-yard free kick sailing toward the upper corner, forcing Bloom-keeper Shelby Koch to make a fingertip save.
Koch's save resulted in a LHU corner kick and
Jenna Hunter sent a perfect pass to
Maddy Novak (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central), who's diving header had to be saved off the line by a Huskie defender.
In the second overtime,
Morgan Euston (Newton, N.J./Newton) made a diving safe late to preserve the shutout for Lock Haven.
Lock Haven finishes the 2014 season, 3-12-2 overall. It marked the first year for head coach
Rob Eaton, a 1988 LHU graduate.
