LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team is set to make its seventh consecutive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament appearance.
The top-seed Lady Eagles will host fourth-seed Shippensburg in the first of four quarterfinal matches on Tuesday (7 p.m.). The semifinal matches will take place on Saturday, November 15 at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Lock Haven earned a top-seed with a 14-8 finish in conference play, while the Red Raiders of Shippensburg capped the regular season, 9-13 in conference. The second East quarterfinal match is between No. 2 Shippensburg and No. 3 West Chester.
In the west, No. 2 Seton Hill will battle No. 3 Gannon while No. 1 Clarion will host No. 4 California (7 p.m.).

The Lady Eagles Charge:Lock Haven finished the regular season 20-10 overall and 14-8 in conference action. The Lady Eagles recorded 11 wins at home on the PSECU Court in Thomas Fieldhouse, with their lone loss to Pitt-Johnstown. LHU is on a four-match win streak and averaging 12.3 kills per set.
Last time vs. Shippensburg:The Lady Eagles are coming off a five-set victory against Shippensburg on Saturday, Nov. 8. SU built a two-set lead over the Lady Eagles before LHU rallied to win the final set, 15-9 and seal a Haven victory.
Earlier in the season, Lock Haven downed Shippensburg in three straight sets at home on Friday, October 17. The Lady Eagles recorded a .319 team hitting-percentage and held SU to a .139 team hitting-percentage. LHU tallied 46 kills and eight aces in the win.
PSAC Tournament history: Tuesday's quarterfinal-match marks Lock Haven's seventh consecutive PSAC Tournament appearance. The Lady Eagles have made it to the Championship match three times and the semifinals twice since moving to the East in 2008. LHU has won six PSAC Championships.

Anderson leading the way:Senior
Cody Anderson has led the Lady Eagles charge with 372 kills on the year and averages 3.58 kills per set. Anderson ranks third in the conference in kills, behind California's Laurel Miller (398) and West Chester's Julia O'Brien (395).
Brown sets up Haven attack:Junior-setter
Jessica Brown has powered this strong Haven offense with 1,164 assists on the year and 10.39 assists per set. She leads LHU with 53 service aces on the year and has added 378 digs. Brown's sensational 2014 campaign has earned her a second-place conference ranking behind Clarion's Laura Subject (1,257).
Defensive Duo: Lock Haven has been strong defensively all season, recording 11 overall shutouts and seven in conference play, including matches against Shippensburg, Millersville, and out-of-conference opponent Northwood.
Sophomore
Sydney Belcastro and senior
Bethany Burns have led The Haven defense in the 2014 season. Belcastro leads LHU with 616 digs on the season, earning a Top-PSAC ranking (fourth).
Burns has 1,256 career digs and has recorded 354 this season. The Lady Eagles have 2,161 total digs, tallying 19.29 per set.
Fresh faces:Lock Haven has welcomed a few new faces to the program who have contributed to the successful season for LHU. Freshmen
Sarah Gomish,
Gabrielle Stala, and
Annie Dombrowski have delivered a consistently strong rookie campaign. Gomish has 191 kills on the year in 73 sets, 13 aces, and 189 digs. These three will look to assist the Lady Eagles in post-season play.
Tickets:Tickets are $7 for adults and $2 for students. Students from PSAC schools and individuals PSAC passes receive free admission with proper identification.
